This yoga holiday retreat is a lovely relaxed week in which you can let go of all tensions. Enjoy of the endless moment in the NOW and recharge yourself with the positive energy of the present moment. We offer a nice and varied programme with lots of space for you.

You will stay in the beautiful Yogahouse in Twello, in a splendid environment. You can choose between a week or a midweek.


  • 08:30 – 9:30 Breakfast
  • 10:30 – 12:00 Morning meditations (diverse meditation forms)
  • 12:30 – 13:15 Lunch
  • 13:15 – 14:00 Helping out / Karma yoga (or other time, depending on task)
  • 15:30 – 17:00 Hatha Yoga
  • 18:00 – 19:00 Dinner
  • 20:00 – Relax Yoga (Yin yoga)

Next to the activities, there is sufficient time to take a nice walk, relax in the garden, play guitar at night and much more. The Wednesdays, there is no class in the afternoon and you might want to do our own practice or visit the city Deventer or rent a bike to go to a beautiful lake on bike-distance.

And if you prefer at any time to relax in your own way rather than joining all of the activities, no problem; the activities are of an excellent standard, but they are not compulsory (except for the Karma yoga). Therefore, couples could also join this holiday even if only one of you would like to participate in the group activities. To guarantee the peace aboard, the minimum age is 18.


In the yoga and meditation weeks, we meditate by various meditations of the traditions of yoga and other experience oriented traditions like sufi or gnostic traditions. Silence or sound meditations, moving meditations or standing/sitting still. Visualizations or focusing on what you perceive in your body; all meditations have their own effect, yet all lead to ‘coming home’, living mindfull and give you peace of mind. Join them all or select the ones that appeal to you; the choice is yours …

Hatha yogayoga weekend op spiritueel centrum Andere Boeg

During the afternoon you can participate in hatha yoga practice. These lessons are a challenge for the more advanced yogi as well as also doable for beginners, as everyone execute the poses in a manner that is adjusted to the (im)possibilities of their body. Next to the poses we also do breathing exercises and meditations from hatha yoga.

Despite the hatha yoga philosophy does not aim at a deep contact with your body, you should know that I always work with being present in your body. Your body is your wise consultant and leading for how you do the poses. We also do not do any meditations that takes you away from the contact with your body or with the earth. I believe that the path downwards is important: feeling your connection with your body and with the earth. And deepen in the awareness of and in your own body.

    It shows that Marloes has a lot of experience in teaching yoga and meditation. She has a beautiful voice (to me that is important) and she knows how to adjust to the goup. We had good weather all the time, so we did yoga outside and we also meditated outside. For me, it was the ideal holiday and back home now, I am full of energy. I will remember and enjoy this week for a long time.

    What a lovely week! So relaxed …. The poses were well adjusted to my body and Marloes is an excellent teacher with solid and broad knowledge. She also has a big compassionate heart and I could not have wished for a better week than this one.

    I did not know meditations could be so varied. That was a lovely surprise. I already knew I liked yoga, but questioned a bit the meditation-sessions of 1,5 hour. But time flies in those sessions and it made me super relaxed yet rejuvenated at the same time. Now I am home for a few days and I have meditated each day since. I hope I will continue doing that for a long time …

    Actually, I liked everyting about this week, the beautiful environment, the food, the gorgeous meditation, the yoga (also outside :)) and also Marloes: she is a beautiful example of awareness.
